Hi! Today i am sharing this ‘you can stripe’ project
Started with the background. I got my Distress Oxides ready for some blending. I used : twisted citron, peacock feathers, worn lipstick, picked raspberry, carved pumpkin and squeezed lemonade. I blend them diagonally on the panel.
I eye balled it. Didn’t measured anything. Just blend how you like it.
I stamped the lines with one strip that i have cut of (no worry, you can always replace it) from the stampset from Concord and 9th -Sketched Stripes Background stamp.
I inked them with the same colors as the blending. I used my Tim Holtz Stamp Platform for this. I stamped each color three times. I had no plan how i stamped them. Just placed them how i liked it.
I inked the edges with sponge daubers in the same colors that i already used, just for something extra haha.
I used VersaMark watermark ink on a piece of white cardstock. I inked the whole paper with the pad.
I sprinkled it with Nuvo Embossing powder -Gold Enchantment Glitter. I heat set it with my heat tool and the magic begins. Love the gold sparkle!
I die cut the letters on the heat embossed cardstock that i needed for the words ‘you can do it’. I used Concord and 9th – Double-Cut Alphabet dies for this. I used only the outlines on the card.
I filled the letters with Nuvo Crystal Glaze.
It gives a very nice shine.
I placed the panel on my card base with double sided foam tape.
Most of the supplies that i used for this card can be found at The Little Paper Tree online shop!
