Word balloons birthday card

Hi! Today i am sharing this ‘word balloons birthday’ project with you

I inked with two Distress Oxide inks the background. I used a make-up brush for this because it will give me that soft look. I used Antique linen and spun sugar.

I already had my  rainbow colored cardstock from my other project. The colors i used for this are from my Versamagic dew drops, pink grapefruit, persimmon, mango madness, key lime, aquatic splash, sea breeze and spring pansy. I also used a make-up brush for this for that soft look. From this piece i die cut all the word balloons. I used the word balloons dies from Avery Elle –Peek A Boo Pets. I stamped with Versafine onyx black ink the sentiments. I used a few from SSS –Tiny Words, Heffy Doodle –Interactively Yours and Lawn Fawn –Reveal Wheel Sentiments. I placed them on my card with foam squares.

I stamped three of the cuties from Avery Elle –Peek A Boo stamps on white cardstock. I die cut those and i made some cheeks with my Copic marker RV02. For some extra detail i used my Sakura white and black gelly roll pens. I glued the bodies behind the word balloons with tacky glue and the little paws on top of the word ballons.

I stamped with Versafine onyx black ink five little hearts from that same stampset. I stamped them on the leftovers from the rainbow colored cardstock. So they fit nicely with the word balloons. I glued them with Ranger Glossy Accents and added this on top of them too, to give the card a little bit of shine.

A nice bonus with these kind of cards is that you do not have to colour the critters!
