Smile burst card

Hi there! Today i am sharing this ‘smile burst’ project

I placed the MFT Sunrise Radiating Rays stencil on some white cardstock. I inked up the rays with my Distress Oxide inks. For this card i used candid apple, squeezed lemonade, spiced marmelade, evergreen bough, cracked pistachio, tumbled glass, mermaid lagoon, wilted violet, shaded lilac and worn lipstick. I started at the top with candid apple and worked my way around. I did not fill the entire cardstock with the ray but ended just where i wanted. That gives it that uneven look of the rays. I used some print paper to protect the rays that i wasn’t inking.

For the hearts at the end of each ray i used the SSS Stacked Hearts die. I don’t know what it is with this die but i love the shape of these little hearts! I die cut this a few times so i could stack some hearts. For some i stacked 2 layers and for some 3 layers of hearts. I inked up the top hearts in the same color as the ray was. I used my Ranger Glossy Accent on them. I glued them down with my Tacky glue.

For the SSS Smile Circle wafer die i used black cardstock. I die cut this 3 times to get some dimension. I glued this in the cirkel inside the sunrays.

I stamped with Versafine Onyx black ink the Mama Elephant Little Monkey Agenda on white cardstock. I colored this cutie with my Spectrum Noir markers nr: BG8, GB10, TN1 and for the cheeks i used GR3. For some details i used my Sakura Gelly Roll white and black pen.I fuzzy cut the monkey because i don’t have the matching dies. But it works just fine this way. I used foam squares to place him on the card. I cut the tail so it would like if the tail is going under the black cirkel. Just for some extra detail.

I glued with my Ranger Glossy Accents sequins in matching colors on the rays here and there. I filled the sequins with Glossy Accents also, so it gives a little extra shine to it.
