slim stackable sunset card

Hi! Today i am sharing this ‘slim stackable sunset’ project

I started with die cutting the panels. I used the dies from Mama Elephant -slim card basic – creative cuts.

For the sky part, i used the stitched die.
I knew where i wanted the sand, water and clouds so i could ink it with Distress Oxide inks.
I used from bottom to top, spiced marmalade, dried marigold, scattered straw and squeezed lemonade.
Tumbled glass and peacock feathers.
I splattered water on the panel and water mixed with Distress Oxide ink mermaid lagoon, on the top part.
I glued this piece on the scalloped piece.

For the sand at the bottom i used the hills shaped die. I used Distress Oxide inks tea dye and aged mahogany. I splattered some water mixed with Distress Oxide inks aged mahogany / black sooth on this piece.

For the water behind the sand, i used the cloud die. But i turned it around.
I inked it with Distress Oxide inks tumbled glass, salty ocean and faded jeans.
I splattered some water on this panel.

I used the cloud die for the clouds at the top.

I glued all the pieces on the sky part.
I used double sided foam tape on the scalloped piece and placed it on the card base. Before that, i inked the card base with Distress Oxide ink pumice stone.

I stamped and colored the critters from Mama Elephant -stackable cuties and -stackable friends stamp sets. I colored them with Spectrum Noir Markers.
I popped them on the card with foam squares.
