Rainbow shaker sketch card

Hello! Today i am sharing this ‘rainbow shaker sketch’ project

I started with inking the card panel. I used Distress Oxide inks worn lipstick, squeezed lemonade, cracked pistachio and peacock feathers. I used sponge daubers and went in a stripe motion. I didn’t went in a round motion. This way it gave the inkblending a dreamy look.

I created the strips from the Sketch on this card panel using some strip dies. I placed them on the card and let the part where i wanted it to stop, hang over my die cut plate. In the end i used an exacto knife to cut the edge parts off, so the strip comes out.

I glued vellum behind the open strips and placed a double layer of double sided foam tape.
I added my shakers and placed the card panel on the card base.

I die cutted (twice) the smaller words with Create A Smile Stamps -tiny sentiments. I glued them on the vellum.

I die cutted (twice) the ‘birthday’ from Create A Smile Stamps -birthday triple. I glued it on the vellum.

Hop over to the Create A Smile Blog and join this fun Sketch Challenge!
