Hi! Today i am sharing this ‘pinguïn around christmas tree’ project
With this card i am entering the Create A Smile – Mood Board Challenge over at their blog!
I started with the diy circle christmas tree. I got my circle stamps (most are from Create A Smile – cool buddies) ready and Versafine onyx black ink.
I drew, with a pencil, the shape of the tree so i knew where to stamp.
I stamped all the circles and colored them with Spectrum Noir Markers. All red and pink tones.
I made a paste with Ranger Glossy Accents and Nuvo -pure sheen glitter ice white. I added this diy paste with an old brush on some of the circles. It gives such a beautiful sparkle!
I fussycutted the tree.
I stamped the three cute pinguïns from Create A Smile -cool buddies, with Versafine onyx black ink on white cardstock. I colored them with Spectrum Noir Markers. I used dark grey and black with some light pink and dark orange. I added accents and high-lights with my Sakura Gelly Roll pens black and white. I fussycut them out.
I placed the tree on my card panel so i knew where i wanted the ink. It gives a sort of look, that the tree is glowing a bit? I ink blended with Distress Oxide inks spun sugar and candied apple.
I ink blended some Memento gray flannel below the tree.
I used an eraser to add some more glowing-like look, around the tree.
I placed the tree on the panel with foam squares.
I added the three pinguïns with a double layer of double sided foam tape on the card panel.
I used a black Derwent fine art pencil below the pinguïns and tree for some shading.
I glued a piece of black and white striped cardstock on the left side of the card base.
I placed the panel on this with double sided foam tape.
I stamped the ‘merry christmas’ from Create A Smile -cool buddies with Versafine onyx black ink on the card panel.
