Penguin party bubble card

Hi! Today i am sharing this ‘penguin party bubble’ project

I started inking my card panel. I used a make-up brush for this because i wanted a soft look for this card. I used Distress Oxide ink tattered rose.
I placed this panel on my card base with double sided foam tape.

On a piece of white cardstock i created a kind of rainbow color blend. I used the colors from Distress Oxide inks worn lipstick, carved pumpkin, squeezed lemonade, cracked pistachio, tumbled glass and wilted violet. I used the make-up brushes again for that soft blend look.

Out of this blended cardstock i die cut the speech bubbles from Avery Elle -peek a boo pets matching die set.
On one speech bubble i stamped with Versafine onyx black ink, ‘time to party’ from SSS -tiny words.
I stamped the music note from Penguin Palace -penguin agenda, with Distress Oxides twisted citron, three times on that bubble too.
I placed them on the panel with foam squares.

I stamped a few images from Penguin Palace – penguin agenda stamp set, with Versafine onyx black ink on white cardstock.
I colored them with distress oxide inks. Like you are watercoloring. It’s easy an a fun way to color!
I gave the images some highlights with Sakura Gelly Roll pens black and white.
I  gave some images a coat of Ranger Glossy Accents for some extra shine.
I glued the images on the speech bubbles and the penguins with foam squares.

I glued five little sequins from Cathrine Pooler -crater lake sequins mix around the speech bubbles to give the card some shine.
