Hi! Today i am sharing these ‘penguin fall’ projects
I am entering with these tags the Simon Says Challenge, September theme on Instagram!
I die cut two tag shapes from white cardstock.
I ink blended them with Distress oxide inks.
I used the colors squeezed lemonade, carved pumpkin, aged mahogany and seedless preserves.
I splattered water (with a little bit of Ecoline -gold) on them to create that distressed look. The gold Ecoline will give it a soft shimmer in the light. I also splattered some black soot distress oxide ink mixed with water on it.
I die cut two picture frames from Studio Light -so… spring. I ink blended them with Distress oxide inks. For one i used the colors squeezed lemonade, carved pumpkin and aged mahogany. For the other one i used squeezed lemonade, carved pumpkin and seedless preserves.
For the panel inside the frames i used Distress Oxide inks spun sugar, tattered rose and antique linen.
I glued the inside panels with glue on the tags and the frames with double sided foam tape.
I inked some white cardstock with Distress oxide ink bundled sage. I die cut 6 tiny leaves from Yvonne Creations -fabulous fall. I colored some Ecoline -gold and some seedless preserves on them to give them a more fall look.
I glued them on the tags.
I stamped, with Versafine -onyx black ink, two penguins from Penguin Palace -Penguin agenda stamps on white cardstock. I colored, watercolored, them in with Distress Oxides. For some high lights i used my Sakura Gelly Roll pen -white and black. I fussycut them out and placed them on the tags with foam squares.
I glued the hearts that came out of the frames on the tags. I used my ‘homemade’ glitter paste on them to give the tags some sparkle.
I heat embossed the ‘just for you’ from SSS -tiny words on black cardstock and on cardstock that i colored with Ecoline -gold, with WOW -opac bright white. I placed them on the tags with foam squares.
I stamped with Versafine -onyx black ink ‘hey friend’ on one picture frame.
I placed light brown wax thread at the top of the tags.
