Hello! Today i am sharing this ‘party started shaker’ project
I started with die cutting the pieces for my shaker card. I used Mama Elephant -frilly window frame die set. I die cutted the frame twice, on white cardstock.
I used a scalloped frame die to cut out the inner piece from the top panel. I glued a piece of acetate at the back of it.
I stamped the sentiment from Mama Elephant -stackable friends, on the acetate. I used Stazon jet black ink for that. This ink can be used on surfaces that are smooth. It wont smear!
I inked the second piece, the card background, with Distress Oxide inks shabby schutters, dried marigold, tumbled glass and worn lipstick.
I splattered some water to react the ink and that gives such a fun look!
I placed a double layer of double sided foam tape at the back of the front panel.
I used my anti static powder to make the edges non-sticky, so the sequins wont stick to that.
I used some clear sequins and a mix of pastel diamond sequins.
They shake perfect!!
I stamped and cutted (with my Brother ScanNCut cm900) the adorable images from Mama Elephant – zodiac rooster and zodiac tiger.
I colored them with Spectrum Noir Markers.
I popped them on the card with foam squares.
