Hello! Today i am sharing this ‘paper hug envelopes’ project
Started with ink blending the card panel. (used a die cut frame from Mama Elephant)
I used Distress Oxide inks scattered straw, dried marigold, spun sugar and mille lavender.
When i want soft inkblending i use amake-up brush, the old fluffy ones. This way i have more control over it. It is personal what you like the most, this just works great for me.
I splattered some water on the panel to get the ink reacting. It gives such a nice look.
I placed the panel, later, on the card base with double sided foam tape.
I die cut out a few envelopes with a die from Mama Elephant.
I inked the little hearts and glued them back on the envelopes. In the end i didn’t like the brightness of these colors so i went over it with Hero Arts -hero hues ink -unicorn.
This softens the colors.
I stamped and die cut the cute critters from Mama Elephant -snow angels. I colored them with Spectrum Noir Markers.
I glued the critters and the envelopes on the card panel.
I stamped a part of the sentiment from Picket Fense Studio’s -a paper hug on the card panel with Versafine onyx black ink.
I used my stamp tool for it.
I inked the sides from the card base with Distress Oxide ink Pumice stone. I just got this color and haven’t used it yet but i am loving it!
Defenetly going to use this more often.
I glued alot of little sequins around the envelopes for a little sparkle.
