Hi! Today i am sharing this ‘no-line watercolor flowers’ project
I started with the first card panel. I used Bazzill smooth cardstock -coconut swirl.
I glued this on the card base.
The cardstock i used for the watercoloring is Strathmore Mixed Media paper -vellum surface.
I used my Sakura Koi watercolor field sketch box set. It’s a 30 color palette.
I also used my smallest brush tip i have.
For stamping the flowers from the stamp sets from Studio Light -Karin Joan’s Blooming, i used Inkon3 ink. It’s a perfect ink for no-line coloring!
I started with the watercoloring. There are many tutorials on Youtube for no-line watercoloring.
I can say this took me alot of time to create these shadow hahaha.
I got two tips for this that are important. Color petal by petal and not the ones next to each other, then the water won’t flow to area’s you don’t want. And create layer by layer with the time to dry in between. This way you can control the darker parts the most.
I still need to practice alot and the shadow parts aren’t great, but i found it very relaxing.
I heat embossed the gorgeous sentiment with WOW embossing powder -opac bright white, on black cardstock.
I placed this on the card panel with foam squares.
