Hi! Today i am sharing these ‘merry little snow angels’ projects
Really..up until now these are my favorite ‘cute’ critter stamps!! I love the illustration of them!
Cuteness overload hahaha. And if you know me a little bit, i am not a ‘super cute’ crafter…but these bring out a that part of me hahaha It’s in there somewhere 😉
So i started with stamping the critters from Mama Elephant -snow angels on white cardstock with Versafine onyx black ink. I colored them with Spectrum Noir Markers. I gave them high-lights with a white Sakura Gelly Roll pen.
I die cut them with the matching dies.
I made four tags using dies from Nellie Snellen. I also made a shape that would work as if it is a little bag on a card.
I used heavy waight watercolor cardstock Kipper WaterArt 300GRS. It’s not white but off-white.
I did some Distress Oxide ink watercoloring on them.
I used for the pink ones the colors worn lipstick, picked raspberry, wilted violet and spun sugar. For the blue one i used tumbled glass and peacock feathers. For the yellow one i used squeezed lemonade, dried marigold and cracked pistachio.
I splattered with a brush Dr.PH.Martin’s pen white on them. And a little bit of Ecoline gold.
When they were dry i added some Hero Arts ink -hero hues unicorn. To soft the colors at the bottom.
I heat embossed all the snow angels wings from the stamp set. Two with WOW embossing powder -unicorn white and two with Nuvo embossing powder -gold enchantment glitter.
I added some 3D snow effect around the edges to give it more a snowy look.
I placed the critters on the tags with foam squares.
I stamped the sentiment ‘have a merry little christmas’ from The Stamp Market -mini hellos on the same watercolor cardstock. I created rectangles and popped them on the tags with foam squares. I added the 3D snow effect around the sentiments.
I stamped this sentiment on the little tag too.
I added some sequins on the tags for extra shine.
I added wax thread and ribbon on the tags.
On the tag with the little cat i added two tiny white pom poms as well.
I glued the ‘bag’ on the card panel that i made with an wood embossing folder. I added a white wax thread on it so it looks more like a bag.
I stamped the sentiment ‘let it snow’ on the little bag with Versafine onyx black ink.
I placed the little bear with foam squares on it.
I added some blue tissue paper in the little bag and glued some sequins on it. I placed the bigger bear in the bag.
I added the 3D snow effect on the top of the bag and a little bit on the scarf of the bigger bear.
I have added silver glitter cardstock on the card base and i added the card panel with double sided foam tape on the card base.
