In my heart watercolor card

Hey! Today i am sharing this ‘in my heart watercolor’ project

I started with the background. I used Kippers –WaterArt 300grs watercolor cardstock.
I watercolored with the ‘water-on-water’ technique. I used my Koi -Field Sketch set. I mixed some colors to get what i wanted. Between each layer i dried it with my heat tool, to speed up that proces.
At the end i mixed a drop of Ecoline -Gold with water. I went over the panel with a big brush to add the gold. It is now one of my favorite gold applying product! When it dried, the background had such a beautiful touch of gold shine.

Before the next step, the panel needs to be dry.
I dipped the edges on my Versamark – watermark ink pad. I used Nuvo embossing powder -Gold enchantment glitter. I used a dry brush to get of some powder where i didn’t want it. I heat set this with my heat tool.

I cut down a strip of vellum and placed it on the panel. I fold the top and bottom around the panel. This way i could glue the vellum at the back of the panel down.

I stamped three trees from Pinkfresh Studio -escape the ordinary with Versamark – watermark ink. I stamped them on Kippers- WaterArt watercolor cardstock. I used Nuvo embossing powder -gold enchantment glitter and heat set that.
I colored them with distress oxide inks.
I fussycut them out.
I used my little DIY project (can be found on my blog), gold glitter paste, on some areas. I placed them on the vellum with foam squares.

I placed a gold thread around the panel before i glued it down on the card base.

I trimmed down a piece of watercolored cardstock into a rectangle. I heat embossed ‘you’re in my heart’ from SSS -tiny words, with Nuvo embossing powder -gold enchantment glitter. I trimmed down a piece of gold glitter cardstock and tape it behind the watercolored rectangle. I placed this on the card with foam squares.

I dropped three drops of Nuvo  on the card for a finishing touch.
