Hooray tassel card

Hi! Today i am sharing this ‘hooray tassel’ project

I started with the rainbow color tassels. In the next pictures you will get an idea of how i made them. And how i attached them on my card.

Here you can see what i used. The tweezer is very handy for making knots. Do remember you need to use thin threat for binding them together. You do not want thick knots.

Here you can see how i attached them on my card. I sewed a thin thread through the top of each tassel. I attached them with some tape.

With my Fiskars papertrimmer i cut out a piece of white cardstock. I attached this on the card with foam squares. I doubled them up so the card would fit nicely on top of my tassels. (that’s why you need a thin knot at the top of the tassels, so the cardstock fits) But before i attached this panel on the card, i placed a white wax thread along the bottom.

I die cut the hooray from Altenew -Script Words three times on black cardstock. I glued them together with tacky glue. I glued ‘hooray’ on the card.

I heat embossed the ‘happy birthday’ from SSS Tiny Words, on black cardstock with WOW -opac bright white- embossing powder. I trimmed this down with my scissors to create a little rectangle. I popped this on the card with foam squares.

I stamped with Versafine onyx black ink three cute chickies from Mama Elephant –Little chickie agenda. I colored them with my Spectrum Noir markers. For the bodies is used LY1, LY2, LY3, OR2 and GR3 for the cheeks. For the balloons and the hat and cake i used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush, light bleu(036), light pink(026), pink(025). For some extra details i used my Sakura white and black gelly roll pen. I attached them on my card with foam squares.
