Hey! Today i am sharing this ‘hey darlin’ birthday’ project
I started with the card panel. I die cut the edge and an oval shape. Used Marianne Design dies for it.
The die cut edge part, the part at the right, i inked it with Distress Oxide inks spun sugar and twisted citron. It gave this soft sandy color. I flipped this and trimmed of a piece and glued it on the card base. It gave a little extra interest to the card at the end.
I drew lines on my card base where the oval window was. I inked that space with Distress Oxide inks worn lipstick and squeezed lemonade. When these two come together it gives a gorgeous orange color!
Now i popped the card panel piece on the card base with double sided foam tape.
I stamped the two adorable images from My Favorite Things -saddle up and celebrate stamp set.
I actually stamped all the images and run it through my Brother ScanNCut cm900.
I colored the images with Spectrum Noir Markers.
I placed them on the card with foam squares.
I added some Ranger Glossy Accents here and there.
I die cut three clouds from JoyCrafts, on some vellum. I taped them on the card with double sided tape. I like this tape because it does not show thrue.
I added a little pink heart and gave it a gloss with Ranger Glossy Accents.
I heat embossed the ‘hey darlin’ with Nuvo embossing powder -gold enchantment glitter, on vellum. I created a rectangle and placed it on the card. On end with double sided foam tape and one end with double sided tape.
I heat embossed the ‘ happy birthday’ from SSS -tiny words with WOW embossing powder -opac bright white, on black cardstock.
I placed this on the card with foam squares.
