Hello! Today i am sharing this ‘hello christmas pattern’ project
Entering with this card the SImon Says Stamp Instagram Challenge for this month
Started with the card panel. I did alot of stamping to create a fun background.
I want to mention that i eye-balled everything. For me it was totaly fine if it wasn’t all perfect straight. I think if your pattern has alot going on it doesn’t show that much. And the stamping goes alot faster hahaha.
I used the big ‘hello’ stamp from The Stamp Market -double take. I used Distress Oxide ink spun sugar. I stamped it in my Tim Holtz stamp platform. This way i could stamp multiple times as Distress Oxides do not nicely cover a solid stamp image. With a stamp platform Distress Oxides are fantastic too for stamping.
I used a tree stamp fromThe Stamp Market -tiny trees with Distress Oxide ink candied apple.
I stamped with Versafine onyx black ink the word christmas.
I realy love to create my own backgrounds!
I die cut a piece of vellum with a circle die from Nellie Snellen -Nellie’s Multi Frame circle dies.
I stamped the tree from The Stamp Market -mini hellos on white cardstock. I used a VersaMark watermark pen to color the inside of the tree.
I heat embossed this with WOW embossing powder -unicorn magic.
I stamped the heart and sentiment, also from this same stamp set, on white cardstock.
I watercolored the heart with Distress Oxide ink peacock feathers.
I arranged all the stamps on the vellum circle.
I added a pink wax thread behind the vellum and placed them on the card panel with foam squares.
For some extra shine i added a few tiny sequins. Glued them down with Ranger Glossy Accents.
