Hello! Today i am sharing this ‘hello birthday pattern’ project
Cards for boys, teenagers, can be a real struggle for me! Happy i created one this time. Challenging yourself can be a good thing too once in a while 🙂
And when the outcome is ok, you have that extra ‘happy feeling’! Hahaha
Started with the card panel. Created a pattern with the big ‘hello’ stamp from The Stamp Market -double take. I used Distress Oxide ink faded jeans. On top of the hellos i stamped the word ‘birthday’ with Versafine onyx black ink.
I want to mention that i eye-balled everything. For me it was totaly fine if it wasn’t all perfect straight. I think if your pattern has alot going on it doesn’t show that much. And the stamping goes alot faster hahaha.
I stamped 7 times the balloons stamp from The Stamp – mini hellos, with Versafine onyx black ink on white cardstock. I watercolored the balloons with Distress Oxide inks candied apple, dried marigold, tumbled glass, squeezed lemonade, faded jeans, mermaid lagoon and peacock feathers. I gave the balloons some high-lights with a white Sakura Gelly Roll pen.
I die cut them all out and popped them on the card panel with foam squares. I cut of the parts that were hanging off the edges.
I heat embossed the ‘celebrate’ from The Stamp Market -mini hellos. I used WOW embossing powder -opac bright white. I placed it on the card panel with foam squares.
