Happy birthday letter card

Hello! Today i am sharing this ‘happy birthday letter’ project

Who likes lettering? Well i do but i am so not good at it. But i always like what they create with those letters.
So why not using my alphabet dies?!

I die cut the letters for ‘happy birthday’ on white and black cardstock.
I used Concord and 9th -Double-Cut Alphabet dies for this. They have that cool outline.

I placed the letters on some sticky tape and inked them with Distress Oxide inks. I used the colors vilted violet, picked raspberry and spun sugar.
When they were dry i doodled some hearts and dots at the top of the letters with a white Sakura Gelly Roll pen.

I glued the black outlines on the card. Not straight, i liked that playfull effect.
Then i glued the inked pieces inside.

I doodled three little hearts above the ‘i’ with a black fineliner,  colored them in with Distress Oxide, picked raspberry and Ecoline gold.

With a small brush and Distress Oxide ink, picked raspberry and some water, i created some dots around the words. This way, with a brush, i had more control over the dots. For some shine and sparkle i made some dots with Ecoline gold watercolor.

Most of the supplies that i used for this card can be found at The Little Paper Tree online shop!
