Hand drawn bouquet cards

Hi! Today i am sharing these ‘hand drawn bouquet’ projects

I used Kippers -WaterArt 300GRS cardstock and used Artist Fineliners from my local Action store.

I started with the landscape card.
First i drew with a pencil soft lines where i wanted the bouquet to be.
When i was happy with the lay-out i got my 0.8 mm black fineliner and drew the flowers and leaves.
I added some shadow here and there and thin lines with my 0.03 mm black fineliner.
To give it a bit more depth.
At last i drew with a 1.0 mm black fineliner the border. I did not used a ruler as you can see hahaha. But that’s ok with me, because i think it fits better this way.

For the portrait card i did some watercoloring first.
I drew with a pencil some lines where i wanted my bouquet.
I used Distress Oxide inks for this. I used the colors squeezed lemonade, carved pumpkin and seedless preserves.
I did a water on water technique for this.
I only watered the area where i wanted my bouquet to be.
When it was dry i drew the flowers and leaves with a 0.8 mm black fineliner. For the shadow and thin lines i used a 0.03 mm black fineliner.
For the border i used a 1.0 mm black fineliner.

For some extra on this potrait card i colored some of the tiny leaves with Ecoline –gold. I splatterd some of that gold on the flowers as well and some white ink.

I erased all the pencil Lines from both cards.

I stamped on both cards the sentiment ‘if friends were flowers i’d pick you’ from Dovecraft Essentials, with Versafine onyx black ink. I stamped it in my Tim Holtz stamp platform to get a nice black sentiment. Because the cards are watercolor cards they have structure, so stamping it twice is kinda needed.
