Hi! Today i am sharing these ‘friend/hug tags’ project
I started with die cutting the scallop tags from white cardstock.
I inked them with, each, two colors of Distress Oxide inks. Bonus is to see how the colors you choose blend together. I always enjoy to mix and match colors.
I used these color combo’s
Sheep: tumbled glass and moed lawn
Chicken: worn lipstick and dried marigold
Bunny: spun sugar and shaded lilac
Lion: spiced marmalade and scattered straw
Rhino: faded jeans and picked raspberry
Pig: squeezed lemonade and peacock feathers
I stamped and cutted, with my Brother ScanNCut cm900, the cute critters and word balloons from Mama Elephant – stackable cuties and stackable friends.
I colored them with Spectrum Noir Markers. And for some details i used a white Gelly Roll pen.
I placed them on the tags with foam squares.
I attached wax thread with a little bead at the tags.
They can work great in these times, with the Corona, to attache them on a flower-door-hanger.
You can hang these hangers on people their doors. Got this idea from Karin Joan (makerisme website)! Loved it because it is so easy to make and can bring a smile 🙂
