Hey! Today i am sharing this ‘flower circle birthday’ project
I started stamping the circles on white cardstock. I used the biggest circle stamp from SSS –Amazing clear stamp set. I stamped it with Memento ink, Desert Sand and Rose Bud. For the green i used VersaMagic dewdrop, Aloe Vera. I used my Tim Holtz Stamp Platfrom for this, so i really could deepen the color.
I made sure the circles where dry before i used the embossing powder. I could not wait so i used my heat tool for it. And i used my Woodware anti-static pad for this too.
I heat embossed all the flowers in the circles with WOW –opac bright white- embossing powder. I used a flower stamp from Forever in Time –Sunshine Daisy Flowers.
I cutted three strips of white cardstock. I inked them with the same three colors i used for the circles. This way they match perfect. I glued them on a piece of vellum. I used foam squares to stick this on my card. It gave some nice dimension. But i wasn’t happy how it looked. So i placed another piece of vellum on top of it, folding the sides around my card. This way i didn’t had to put glue under the vellum. The vellum made the color of the strips a bit softer.
I die cut the sentiment happy birthday, an Action die, from gold glitter paper. I placed this with glue on the vellum.
For some shine i placed three groups of sequins. A clear one and two little gold ones. I glued them with Ranger Glossy Accents on the card. I added some Ranger Glossy Accents in the middle of each clear sequin, for some extra shine.
