Hi! Today i am sharing this ‘bloom in every season’ shaker project
I will be designing for Karin Joan’s newest “Blooming” collection over @ Studio Light Nl
So you will see a few more projects from me in the next months with these awesome products!
I started with the card base.
I used a pattern paper from the Studio Light paper pad nr2
I glued it on the card base.
I created the front panel, the shaker part, with a piece of white cardstock and a oval die from Craft Unlimited –double dies.
I inked this panel with Distress Oxide ink spun sugar. Not heavy handed, just softly. I splattered some water on it to give it a more playfull look.
I measured the acetate piece and glued this at the back of the front inked piece.
At the front, i placed some of the rub-on stickers from Karin Joan –rub-on transfers nr2.
A great way to use those on the acetate.
Always hard to glue or stamp on acetate.
But these rub-on stickers work perfect!
I placed double sided foam tape all around the oval and made sure there was no gap.
I used some anti-static powder around the inside edges. Just to make sure the shakers wont be all sticking to the foam. This really helps a bit.
I placed all the shaker pieces on the card base.
I used a random circle die to make sure all these tiny pieces stayed in place. Especially the beads hahaha.
I placed the top piece, the front panel, on the card base. Always tricky to do when you have alot of shaker pieces. But it worked..Yay!
I stamped and die cut, three times the little flower from Karin Joan –blooming stamp and die cut nr1,
on white cardstock with Versafine onyx black ink..
I glued them on the front panel in a cluster.
For this card is used the following products from Karin Joan’s Blooming Line from Studio Light
- rub-on stransfers nr 2
- stamp and die cut set nr 1
- paper pad nr 2
