Hi! Today i am sharing this ‘birdie leaf angel’ project
This tag is interactive! The little bird wiggles and if you want to see…i have added a short video in the post on my Instagram account.
Also, with this tag i am entering the Simon Says Challenge, September theme on Instagram!
Started with cutting a piece of white cardstock into a tag shape. I used my Fiskar paper- trimmer for this.
I ink blended it with Distress Oxide inks tattered rose and bundled sage.
I did this with a make-up brush for a soft look.
I stamped the cute bird and some leafs from Create a Smile -clear from my nest with Versafine onyx black ink. I colored them with Spectrum Noir Markers. For some high-lights and details i used Sakura Gelly Roll pens black and white.
I fussycut them all.
I placed the bird on the tag. I drew some angel wing lines with a pencil around the bird.
This will give me some help for stamping the leaves.
I stamped those two leaves, from the same stampset, random around the Pencil line.
I was not worried about the green color. I just colored over it with Spectrum Noir Markers.
I placed the fussycut leaves with foam squares on the tag.
I used my gold-diy-paste (toturial on my blog) on the edges of the angel wing shape. I used an old small brush for this.
I also dipped some of it on the leaves.
I placed the bird with an mini action wobble from MFT, on the tag.
Now it wiggles and looks like the bird is laying in a pile of leaves. It’s not a snow-angel but a leaf-angel! 🙂
I stamped with Versafine onyx black ink the ‘so happy’ from Create a Smile -clear friends in the Woods on the tag.
I placed, with Ranger Glossy Accents, a strip of glitter cardstock at the top. I attached a brown wax thread on this.
